MAM holds 50th Anniversary reception - 5/12/2004

MAM marked it's 50th anniversary with a special event held at the Maritime Museum in Victoriosa.

Dr Censu Tabone gave a talk on the birth of MAM and its early days, while Dr. Lino German went through the days of the 1977-1987 dispute. Dr Stephen Fava finally gave a short overview of MAM's recent activities and its vision for the future.

A special momento was presented to all past presidents who attended the event.

The late Dr Callus, and the late Dr Albert Fenech were given a special mention for their long contribution, to the association and the profession.

A reception was held at the end of the event.
